AIRDRIE ACOUSTIC
AIRDRIE ACOUSTIC
Airdrie Acoustic is a listening room series built for people who still believe songs deserve their full attention.
Rooted in the tradition of songwriter circles, and folk clubs Airdrie Acoustic creates intimate live music experiences where the focus stays on the artist, the stories, and the room itself. These aren’t background-noise shows. They’re nights built around connection, the kind where audiences lean in, songs breathe a little deeper, and every set feels personal.
Hosted at Atlas Brewing in Airdrie, Alberta, the series brings together local, touring, and emerging artists in a space designed to feel warm, welcoming, and honest. Whether it’s a stripped-down folk set, a songwriter round, or a full room singing along by the final chorus, Airdrie Acoustic exists to celebrate live music the way it was meant to be experienced: up close and fully present.
Inspired by classic Canadian folk clubs and community-driven music spaces, we believe some of the best shows happen in smaller rooms where conversations happen between sets, where audiences actually listen, and where artists can take risks without needing flashing lights and big stages. At its core, Airdrie Acoustic is about preserving and growing a culture of thoughtful live music in Alberta. One room. One audience. One song at a time.
We also believe live music can do a little good beyond the room. At every regular ticketed show, we collect donations for the Airdrie Food Bank, giving our audience another way to support the community that brings these nights to life.
Stay tuned for upcoming concerts, featured songwriters, special events, and collaborations as the community continues to grow.
Airdrie Acoustic Cares brings local musicians together for pay-what-you-can shows that support charities and community organizations doing good work right here at home. Every show puts local talent in the spotlight while helping make a difference in our community.
Our first show features Airdrie Legends, supporting the Airdrie Legion. Come out, enjoy some live music, and help support a great local cause.
Five longtime members of Airdrie’s music community Al Lukiw, Bryant Davies, Gayle Davies, Greg McRitchie and Lori McRitchie come together for this special Cares show.
Between them, they’ve spent decades playing open mics, jams, community events and local stages, while helping welcome and encourage other musicians along the way.
This is a celebration of the people who keep Airdrie’s music community going and keep showing up.
Airdrie Branch No. 288 of the Royal Canadian Legion has been part of the community since 1983.
The Legion supports local Veterans, serving military and RCMP members and their families, while also providing community programs, remembrance activities and support for those navigating Veterans Affairs Canada services.
This Airdrie Acoustic Cares show helps support the Legion and the work it does in our community.
